The Gateway to the Blues Museum and Visitor Center is located on Highway 61 in Tunica County. The 3,500 square foot museum features the following galleries: What Is Blues Music; Why Here? (Mississippi Delta); Evolution of Style and Form; Mississippi Bluesmen; Evolution of the Guitar; Blues Lyric Interactive
The project was funded in part by a grant from the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) with additional funding provided by the local county government.
